About the authorNancy Rubin Stuart is an author and journalist whose latest book, The Muse of the Revolution: The Secret Pen of Mercy Otis Warren and the Founding of a Nation, Beacon Press published on July 4, 2008. This work about one of America's Forgotten Founding Mothers was just nomiunated for a 2009 George Washington Book Award. Nancy received a William Randolph Hearst Fellowship from the American Antiquarian Society in 2005 to further her research on Mrs. Warren's life. Thee author of five earlier books on women, including the award-winning The Reluctant Spiritualist: The Life of Maggie Fox and the best-selling American Empress: The Life and Times of Marjorie Merriweather Post, Nancy contributes to The New York Times and many national magazines.
